Holy Crap!!! I purchased my SST pipe about a month ago and have been pounding out countless laps with my new mod. When I got the pipe put on the bike I could hardly wait to see what all the fuss about this pipe was and if it was all true. So I went to Joey's house where we all practice. Once I got to Joey's I unloaded the bike and fired her up. I could tell a big difference in the way the bike sounded. The ring-ding sound sounded noticeably higher like a grown man had just taken a swift kick in the.... well, you know. I popped her in gear and proceeded toward the track. I was putting along and then snapped the throttle back along with my head to my surprise. Holy Crap!!! I have never had a pipe that made such a difference. The power delivery is smoother through the bottom and then WHAMO the mid-range hits and your gone. Does this pipe ever let the bike top out? The bike seems to rev to the moon. I highly recommend this pipe to anyone that is looking for a simple yet substancial power gain. My bike now runs like a modified. The pipe looks great just don't look directly at it in the sunlight or your sight will briefly leave you and it sounds great too. But, the main thing the pipe does is make your bike rip!!!
I put a link at the top of the page to go to FMF's site. You can check out dynos for your bike there. |
